Television news shows rise to the occasion, offering shouting matches between caricatured opposites competing for ratings. Elected officials are ridiculed as 'wonks' for sharing or even understanding multiple viewpoints, the history of an issues, or its greater context.

Let's listen to the pulse of the world as she grows, and know that what grows today, well, will die.
